March 26, 2007 - Summerfest officials
are excited to announce Bon Jovi will
perform at the Marcus Amphitheater on July 5 as
part of the 40th Anniversary of the World's
Largest Music Festival.
Still going strong
after two decades, no band has embodied the
pop-rock era quite like New Jersey rockers Bon
Jovi. Fronted by lead singer, guitarist and
namesake Jon Bon Jovi, the band has established
itself as one of the world's most successful
rock bands of all time, selling over 120 million
albums worldwide. The Summerfest performance is
sure to include many of their hit singles, such
as "Livin' On A Prayer," and "You Give Love A
Bad Name," along with their newly released
single, "(You Want To) Make a Memory," from
their June 19, 2006 release Lost Highway.
Bon Jovi has released
nine studio albums, including multi-platinum
discs like 1986's Slippery When Wet, 1988's New
Jersey and Crush in 2000. The band recently won
a Grammy Award and a People's Choice Award for
their hit, "Who Says You Can't Go Home."
Tickets go on sale
Saturday, March 31 at 10 a.m. and will be
available for $80.00, $70.00, $55.00, and
$30.00. This price does not include any
applicable facility fees or service fees.
